Wow...Sarah Palin for VP

I cannot believe the enthusiasm for Sarah Palin. I could not be happier with John McCain's pick for VP. This week has been the most exciting week of the campaign season for us conservatives! I never thought we would have so much to be excited about but now I do have faith that we just migh win with the McCain/Palin ticket. As you know I haven't been on the John McCain bandwagon, but I certainly am now! He made a brilliant choice with Palin as his VP and the Dem's are shaking in their boots. Obama doesn't know how to handle her. He is gonna have his female surrogates go out to trash her, but Hillary refuses to do so. She's no dummy. Good for her! She is waiting for Obama to lose so that she can run in 2012. Don't fool yourself folks. For all you out there saying that America is a majority Pro-Choice, you are down right wrong. Most people despise abortion. Many would support it if there were exceptions for rape and inscest, however, most believe like I do that abortion is the killing of an innocent human being. You Pro-Choicer's are out there slamming Palin for her stance and making a mockery of your stance by condemning her for having her Down's Syndrome Child. I thought you were Pro-Choice. Obviously not...You are only Pro-Abortion and you have made that clear. That is an insult to clear thinking people. Go Sarah...Go John! Win this one baby!

McCain/Palin Ticket is Phenomenal!

It's been some time since I've posted anything on this race for the presidency. Today, I am so very proud to have witnessed John McCain's introduction of his Vice Presidential selection, Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin. I couldn't be more proud to be a Conservative at this moment. I knew of the Governor, but not much about her other than I knew she was a reformer, and most importantly to me, Pro-Life! I don't know how anyone could look at this courageous woman and not have deep respect for her courage and dedication to life and our human family. As you probably know by now, she just had her youngest son, Trig Paxson Van Palin, who is a Down's Syndrome child. The fact that she and her husband knew that this beautiful child was going to be born with special needs, and they still continued with the pregnancy tells a lot about this persons integrity and respect for human life. I'm sure there will be those out there who believe that you shouldn't bring into this world a child with any affliction, she and her husband believe, like so many of us that a human life is a child of God, no matter what physical or mental shape they may be faced with. They knew that there would be hardships with raising a special needs child, but they made the human choice to let God's miracle work. If you know any family who has had a Down's Syndrome child, as I have, you know that these children are so very special and wonderful. This choice by John McCain is one that we conservatives will hail as one proud moment in American history. It is the first time the GOP has had a female on any presidential ticket. I loved the way that Sarah honored Geraldine Ferraro and Hillary Clinton in her introductory speech. The women of America can be proud that we still have a dog in the race.

Sarah Palin also matches perfectly with John McCain's maverick stance. She has fought corruption and pushed for reform her entire political career, and from what I can tell, she is an outstanding choice to run at his side. I am sure that the left wing crazies will be attacking her as inexperienced, but she is the only person in this presidential race that has executive experience. They'll attack her because she has only been in the governor's office for less than two years, but she has been in elected office for 13 years. She is our rock star and we are proud to have her on on our team this historic journey! I am not a huge McCain fan, but I now have something to cheer about and am going to be proudly promoting the McCain/Palin ticket to everyone. I'll be back after work to eccentuate my extreme happiness with this selection

These Primary Days

Wow! It's been awhile since I've been here. The political tide is coming in and out down her in Florida...Well, my guy Fred Thompson, dropped out this past Tuesday. Bummer, big time. I'm down to two candidates that I am still supporting: Mitt and Rudy. I will never vote for McCain. I'm all for ya Rush. I cannot and will not vote for John McCain. I am proud of his military service, however, he has soooooooooooooo many policital beliefs and stands that I won't ever give him my vote. The problem is mostly with immigration. He tried to do a back room deal on that just last summer. READ THIS THOSE OF YOU THAT CAN STILL VOTE: MCCAIN WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THERE WAS ACTUALLY DELIBERATION ON THE SENATE AND HOUSE FLOORS WHEN THEY PROPOSED THE IMMIGRATION BILL. HE WAS ADAMENT THAT THERE BE NONE OF THAT. HE WAS MADE A FOOL WHEN WE ALL FOUND OUT THE WHOLE PACKAGE DEAL WAS AMNESTY. HE WAS ANGRY THAT WE FOUND OUT. HE WAS MADE TO LOOK LIKE THE FOOL THAT HE THOUGHT THAT WE WERE. HE IS LYING TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC AS TO WHAT HE'LL DO ON THE IMMIGRATION STAND. HE WILL GIVE OUT AMNESTY BECAUSE HE'LL BE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH BOTH HOUSES OF A DEMOCRATIC CONTROLLED CONGRESS. THERE WILL BE AMNESTY AND WE WILL ALL BE PISSED BUT IT WON'T AMOUNT TO ANYTHING BECAUSE IT WILL BE TOO LATE. HE'LL SIGN IT AND SAY HE DIDN'T AHVE ANY CHOICE. DON'T VOTE FOR HIM IF YOU DON'T WANT AMNESTY FOR THE ILLEGALS IN THIS COUNTRY. The American people are soooooooooo forgetful. Either that or they just don't pay attention to what's going on in the political scene. Rudy, is the best man for the job. I don't agree with him on abortion, however; I believe him when he says that he will only nominate "strict constructional constitutionalist judge.' That's good enough for me. Even thought the polls show that he's in third, I believe the early voting will go strongly towards Rudy. If Rudy doesn't win, then I hope that Mitt wins. John McCain is smearing Mitt today. It's pretty sad that he has to report to LYING to win Florida. I certainly hope Floridians like myself do not fall for this BS. Mitt never said he was for timetables for withdrawal, at least in the way that McLyer is trying to portray him. All he said was that he was certain that President Bush and Maliki are looking at some timetables; They certianly have set some timetables for withdrawal of some troops. They do that every day at the DOD and I'm sure the President is in on that action, along with Al Maliki. That was all that Mitt was referring to...and why in the hell would McCain be bringing up this olddddddd story if he wasn't desperate. It's because that he knows that the economy is the most important issue to Floridians and all Americans right now. HELLOOOOO, didn't they just start pushing a bipartisan stimulus package this week? Of course they did and ol MAC doesn't have a lick of experience on the economy. A position on the commerce committee doesn't cut it. Mitt has that big time or OLDDDDDDDDDDDDD MAAAAAAAAAAAc. So don't let him fool you. He can't compete on that issue. He can say all he wants about his support for the surge, but Mitt and Rudy and Hucklebeeeee also supported the surge. Sure, he has been highlighting his support and took some risk in doing so, but if you look at it from the point of view of conservatives, we all believed that the surge would work because we all have faith in the military. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOLDDDDDD Mac is not alone in that policy stance. He thinks he is the only person who was for changing strategy. Truth be told, he wanted a surge of 400,000 troops; something that was NEVER feasible. He can't take full credit for the surge. He can say he supported it, but he didn't create it. He also wasn't the arctitech of the surge. I believe that was General Petreaus....Give me a break. If you all vote for McCain, you are voting for a lib. You'll have government run health care because McCain doesn't have the balls to stand up to the Dems on anything. Just look at his record. On every major policy, he has been at odds with the conservative movement. What makes you think our goals will ever be reached if MCOLDMAn is in the White House? It'll never happen. You will be putting in a Democrat if he wins. And he probably will win if it's him against HILLLLL. If it's him against OBAMA, he'll lose. Obama is too likeable. Heck, I like the guy. I hate his stance on every major policy issue, but I like him as a person much more than I do MCOLdMan. If you're a Floridian, please vote for Rudy or Mitt. They both have more conservative values than McCain. Lastly, on taxes, MCOLDMAN is a big Lib. He is full of it when he says he wants to make the Bush Tax cuts permanent. He's voted against that time and time again using the argument that it doesn't cut out big government spending....That's a bunch of BS too. He was voting with the Libs all the way. He is an honorable soldier, but he's not an honorable conservative. If he wins, we are going to go through a big changing of the guard in the conservative movement. Yes, we want to win the war, but is it worth it to put McCain in the highest office of the land? I don't think it is. Maybe you disagree? Let me know...

Anti War Movies in the Tank and Hollywood is Making up Bogus Excuses!

It's been quite some time since I last posted, however, today, I found an article linked from Drudge that was absolutely the most inspiring web posting that I have seen in a long...long...time:

You will notice that the link actually is the comments section of an article from Breitbart.com that is ANONYMOUSLY WRITTEN by a Hollywood bigwig. In the article, the writer is using propoganda to try to convice us that the reason that all of the anti-war movies are tanking at the box office is because this is an unpopular war and people in America just are not ready to face the conflict. Although they do make the point that the movies just aren't very good, they don't get the the real gist of the real problem...That is that Americans are tired of the Elitist Hollywood Left Bashing our Troops and our President! WE are certainly tired of the war, but more so, WE WANT TO WIN! Hollywood will NEVER ACCEPT THE UNITED STATES ACTUALLY WINNING A WAR. War movies are only successful when 1) The war has been over for a while and 2) When Hollywood portrays our HONORABLE MEN AND WOMEN IN THE MILITARY IN A POSITIVE LIGHT! Please give me one successful example of an anti-war movie that was made while the war was being prosecuted that shows our military in a negative light. I don't believe there is even one. Americans want to win...win...win..and we want to root for our heroes!...We want to stop the BAD GUYS! IN THIS WAR..THE BAD GUYS ARE THE TERRORISTS! WE WANT TO STOP THEM FROM KILLING MORE OF US! WE DON'T CARE IF KHALID SHEIKH MOHAMMED HAS BEEN "WATERBOARDED!" HE ORCHESTRATED THE MURDERS OF 3000 OF OUR FELLOW CITIZENS! GET IT???? I GUESS YOU DON'T. I guess you'd rather make George Bush look bad because that is POPULAR...You better get over your anger towards George...because we are smart enough to see through your propoganda...THAT IS WHY THE CONGRESS HAS SUCH LOW APPROVAL RATINGS...NOT BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T STOPPED THE WAR, BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE DOING EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO MAKE USE LOSE. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! GET A CLUE! PLEASE, PLEASE GET A CLUE!

This article hits me very hard personally. My sister is being deployed to Iraq in January. She is in the Indiana National Guard. I am going to Indiana for her deployment ceremony on January 2nd. I COULD NOT BE PROUDER OF MY SISTER! SHE IS MY HERO. SHE IS WILLING TO RISK HER LIFE FOR YOUR'S AND MINE BECAUSE SHE FEELS DUTY BOUND. I already have had a brother, Danny, complete a tour of duty in Iraq. He was there for the initial invasion and won several medal for his bravery. I have such a deep feeling in my heart for all of the veterans this holiday weekend. I can only hope that this article gives you hope, like it did for me. I now do believe that Americans want what I pray for...VICTORY IN THE WAR ON TERROR! Merryl Streep is not in the majority. I truly believe that we, as Americans love our heroes with all of our hearts and we are sick and tired of the left-wing media and the Hollywood NEOCONS that think that they THINK FOR US....Shame on you! I hope you all lose your ASS. You deserve it if it happens. We are done with it. We want VICTORY! WE ARE TIRED OF YOU DEFAMING OUR PRESIDENT. YES, WE KNOW THAT THE WAR IN IRAQ HAS HAD SOME VERY LOW MOMENTS, HOWEVER, WE (THE MAJORITY) WANT VICTORY AND YOU BETTER GET THIS STRAIGHT OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SHIRTS...AND DESERVEDLY SO!

According to Fox News, the "Bipartisan Immigration Reform Bill" is now dead!
I, for one believe that this bill was dead upon arrival, however, after a couple of weeks of wrangling, it has finally died. The American public is not going to stand for politicians in Washington trying to force down our throats a piece of legislation that was not only full of holes but one that was never going to actually solve our illegal immigration problems. Is there even one of you who actually believed that the Federal Government was going to even do half of what this bill promised? They passed a very strong border enforcement bill in October of last year and even funded the bill whereby we were supposed to have an almost 800 mile fence built. They have built 2 miles so far!

President Bush: I have the utmost respect for you, however, you are so out of touch with the American Public on this issue. Do your job please! Build the fence. Enforce the current laws. At least deport the illegals that are criminals! Make the employers who hire these people illegally pay fines and or go to jail. They will stop hiring them! These folks will go home. STOP TRYING TO MAKE US BELIEVE THAT OUR ECONOMY CAN'T WORK WITHOUT THEM! WE ARE A COUNTRY OF HARD WORKING PEOPLE. THESE EMPLOYERS ARE HIRING THESE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS BECAUSE THEY MAKE MORE MONEY! I DON'T BELIEVE FOR ONE MINUTE THAT THE ECONOMY WOULD NOT RECOVER EVEN IF THERE WERE A BACKLASH IN THE BEGINNING. THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE TO DO THE JOBS. COMPANIES ARE SENDING THE JOBS OVERSEAS BECAUSE THEY PAY LOWER WAGES AND AGAIN....MAKE MORE MONEY. WE WANT THEM TO MAKE MONEY, BUT WE WANT THE LAWS FOLLOWED AS WRITTEN. NO MORE PULLING THE WOOL OVER OUR EYES!

Most of us are very upset about the current "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" bill that is about to pass the senate. If you are in the majority, like the rest of us, DO YOUR PART! CALL OR WRITE YOUR SENATOR AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE AND LET THEM KNOW THE DEGREE TO WHICH YOU OPPOSE THIS BILL. I've already done so. If your representative gets bombarded with calls, you will make a difference. PICK UP THE PHONE AND LET THEM HEAR YOUR VOICE! Here is a link to contact your Senator:

I am so happy that Fred Thompson is now very likely to announce his run for the Republican nomination for the presidency. You would have known this was going to happen if you are "Law and Order" fans anyway. Good luck to Fred! He is definitely a conservative that we can all look forward to believing in! We'll keep you posted on how he's doing ask things progess! If Fred isn't successful, I'm ready to support Rudy or Mitt. GO REPUBLICAN(S)!

6. Is not afraid to make tough decisions.
7. Has promised to change the tax code. HE WILL NOT TAX US TO DEATH AS THE DEMOCRATS ARE SO HAPPILY YELLING TO THE ROOFTOPS. I am not a wealthy person, but I do want the money that I earn to be used fairly and I don't want any more taken from a government that wants to spend it on special interest projects that are even going to be debated anymore. What a joke the Dem's are trying t0 pull on us. Don't let these crooks do this to us anymore!

Edwards is a Disgrace on Memorial Day!

John Edwards has chosen his belligerent left wing path in pursuing the Democratic Presidential Nomination. HOW COULD A MAN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT OF THE US CALL ON HIS SUPPORTERS TO PROTEST MEMORIAL DAY PARADES OR ANY OFFICIAL VETERENS GATHERING IN THE NAME OF GOOD CONSCIENCE? MEMORIAL DAY IS A DAY TO HONOR OUR FALLEN SERVICEMEN....PERIOD! IT SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR OPINION ON THE IRAQ WAR! EDWARDS BLAMES PRESIDENT BUSH FOR POLITICIZING THE WAR...WHAT A JOKE! LAST I CHECKED, PRESIDENT BUSH WAS OUR COMMANDER IN CHIEF WHO WAS PLACED IN HIS ROLE TO PROMOTE OUR COUNTRY AND MILITARY! EDWARDS CLAIMS BUSH CONSTANTLY POLITICIZES THE WAR. IT WOULDN'T MATTER WHAT OUR PRESIDENT SAID, HE WOULD BE CRITICIZED FOR ANY STAND HE TOOK. KEEP UP THE FIGHT GEORGE W....THERE ARE THOSE OF US WHO ARE STILL BEHIND YOU ON THE ISSUES THAT MATTER!

Although I have not lost a family member to The War in Iraq, I do have a younger brother who was there for a year for the initial invasion. He won the Bronze Star for his valor in the battlefield and I believe that he saw death while serving. He doesn't talk about it, but he's a man that we all admire because of his dedication to family and country. He is an amazing man, that I am proud to say is my brother. He is a commander in the military whose charge is to retain our wounded soldiers who might be able to return to battle. You won't find a finer man (you might find some equally fine ones if you look close to home though). Our men in the service deserve better than a "Rosie O'Donnell," whose main focus is to push Media Matters agenda and the entire message that the John Edwards Party is trying to push. (Oh, I guess she's also trying to foment her multimillion dollar contract too).
